*_Hope u all'l be ok. I am facing a problem while recording an upload in LSMW for Hiring data. I am creating recording using an action (PA40) i.e., Hiring action. It is based on 0000, 0002, 0001 and 0007.
When I start recording and 0000 Actions infotype screen appears, I only need to enter 'Action reason'. When I press 'Enter' or press save, it displays following error msg:
"Employee Active since 00:00:0000"
kindly help me in this regard. I am using IDES.

Change the pernr/ hire a new employee.

Thank for brisk reply. Indeed this is not the case.
1st of all I am just preparing a recording in LSMW. But If it is what u said, then I have tried it with diff PERNR.
2ndly I have checked throught PA30, PA20 but there is no such record.
It is something I think relevant to configuration of Hiring Action m using for upload recording in LSMW. though I hav copied it from actual Hiring action which is working fine in upload.

1. Please check pernr in table PA0000 using se16.
2. Check the number range - NUMKR
3. Please check infogroup.
