*Jai of Sholay's Jai and Veeru Missing in Action*
This week Star Plus' Amul Chhote Ustaad witnessed a monumental history making event. After 35 very successful years, the legendary cast of Sholay came together as part of Chhote Ustaad. There was excitement in the air as the entire cast and crew of Chhote Ustaad had very meticulously prepared for this episode, from song selection to wardrobe everything was styled in the trade mark Sholay format. The host of the show Omi Vaidya and Abhaas Joshi welcomed Mr Ramesh Sippy the Director of Sholay along with Viju Khote (Kaalia) and Asrani (The Jailer) with a lot of love and respect. Dharmendraji, the handsome and legendry actor was greeted with a standing ovation. Needless to say that the show was a major success and full of fun as everyone cheered our little sholays with enthusiasm and vigour. But the absence of the other legend was felt heavily. The Jai of the Jai and Veeru duo was really missed. We do wonder why he wasn't round. Could it possibly be that his commitment with another Hindi GEC kept him at bay? No matter Big B, hopefully the unstoppable duo of Jai and Veeru with get back together again
