If the ratings don't rise, the show faces the threat of being axed. An actor on condition of anonymity says, "We have been hearing these rumours for the past four months, but there is no concrete information from the production house so far. The channel has announced that shows which fetch them a TRP of point five, are safe. We have been garnering point six TRPs.''
The show will soon introduce two leaps back to back. The first one would be of nine-months which will take place sometime next week and the second leap will take place in 15 days time after the first leap.
Talking about the track post leap, an actor requesting anonymity says, 'The nine-month leap will see Swara deliver Aditya and her child. And immediately after that within a gap of two weeks, production house will introduce another leap of five years. Post the leap there are going to be certain changes on the show. Primarily, it will become a multi track story. The show then will not just focus on Swara and Aditya but on other characters too. A new actress will be introduced who will play parallel lead on the show.''
But two leaps at one go, convey the desperation of the production house to save the chances of the show from getting axed. Says the actor, ''It is quite possible. There are many shows in the offing for the channel and they will have to axe the weak ones.''
Protagonist Pooja Bose remained unavailable for the comment.
