The University of Rajasthan is the oldest institution of higher learning in Rajasthan. It was established on 8th January, 1947, as the University of Rajputana with the main objective of disseminating knowledge and catering to the needs of the students of Rajasthan.

Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh (DTEMP) has published the complete schedule of counseling for admissions into various courses in various colleges in MP.

Candidates who have secured the rank up-to 20, 000 in the MP PET 2010 are eligible to take part in this counseling.

Lindsay Lohan Dead : Fake Kim Kardashian Twitter Supports the Rumor

These rumor will keep coming in and trust me you would not be able to differentiate between the real and fake news. Lindsay Lohan is pretty alive and getting ready mentally as well as physically to serve her 90 days jail term which is to begin on July 20.

The rumor stated that Lindsay overdosed and immediately passed away, which obviously is not true. Wikipedia is used to spread the news more and make it more reliable as it can be easily edited and by anyone who has the internet. It is updated on Wikipedia that she's deceased as of July 14, 2010, however there are no details surrounding her supposed death.

In the mean time, there was a tweet from a fake Kim Kardashian twitter account which goes as "Omg!! Is Lindsay Lohan dead?! I keep hearing these rumors from my friends n stuff!! Is it true?".

Nobody could get hold of the Kim Kardashian to talk about it and honestly she doesn't even bother about these hoax news created.

New York Yankees Boss George Steinbrenner dead after heart attack

George Steinbrenner, 80 years old, who is also called as the boss of New York Yankees died Tuesday morning in Tampa after suffering a massive heart attack.

Steinbrenner bought the New York Yankees on 1973 and it is valued as $1.6 billion estimated by the Forbes magazine, which means he knew how to turn the things is gold and he was the visionary.

Former Yankees manager Joe Torre said, "You didn't work with him, you worked for him,"

"George was certainly 'The Boss,' and you certainly understood that and what that took in. You had to give answers and give a full accounting of yourself", he added.

Steinbrenner family released the news on Tuesday Morning with the statement, "It is with profound sadness that the family of George M. Steinbrenner III announces his passing,". "He was an incredible and charitable man. First and foremost he was devoted to his entire family - his beloved wife, Joan; his sisters, Susan Norpell and Judy Kamm, his children, Hank, Jennifer, Jessica and Hal; and all his grandchildren. He was a visionary and a giant in the world of sports. He took a great but struggling franchise and turned it into a champion again."

Bikini Killer Charles Sobhraj verdict Postponed by Nepal Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of Nepal has postponed the final verdict of Charles Sobhraj after he appealed against district court verdict of sentencing him to life imprisonment for the murder of American backpacker Connie Jo Bronzich in 1975.

Charles Sobhraj is 65 year old and if sources are to be believed he has already begun planning his reunion with his daughter, a quick wedding and is looking forward to a life of limelight in books and TV shows.

The verdict was postponed as the two judges hearing the case said they were not able to go through the complete arguments submitted by the prosecution and Sobhraj's lawyers within the given time. Justice Ram Prasad Shah also said they needed more time to examine the documents filed by both sides.

Delaying the verdict seems alright if the judges could not go through the documents however if they are going to set him free then there would be lot on anger among the people as it is believed that he murdered 12 to 24 people between 1970 and 1976 in Thailand, India and Nepal.

Leicester City not sold yet says chairman Milan Mandaric

Milan Mandaric who took matters of the Leicester City in his hands 3 years ago is loooking for some return on the investment he made however he has denied the rumors about the deal which is to sell off the club.

Leicester releases a statement that talks are ongoing however it has not been agreed to sign the papers and still waiting for the right offer. According to the statement released, "Contrary to media reports, Leicester City Football Club wish to confirm that no agreement has been reached with any parties regarding the acquisition of the club."

"Chairman Milan Mandaric has always maintained that he would welcome the right partner to help him move the club forward. Discussions have taken place with a number of interested parties but no agreement has been reached.If any discussions with any interested parties lead to concrete agreements regarding a partnership to assist in moving the club forward, Leicester City fans will be the first to know."

It really doesn't matter to the fans as long as the teams keep playing well and finding the net of opponent at the right time; however they would love to know that who is going to be the new owner of the club.

Golden Glove Winner of World Cup and the Spain Team Captain Iker Casillas gives some positive hints about Chelsea Full back Ashley Cole will join Real Madrid this summer.

Casillas is confident that the 29-year-old will move to the Spanish capital and he is not surprised Real Madrid is interested in signing defender. "From what I am hearing the signs look good," Casillas is quoted by The Sun.

Aamir Khan Paid Just Rs. 1100 for Peepli Live Songs

Aamir Khan rubbished allegations that he paid pittance to the singers of the much- hyped song Mahangayi Dayan in his home production, Peepli Live. " As a registered production house, Aamir Khan Productions wanted to buy the rights of the song from the villagers of Badwahi. But when we approached the singers, they said it belonged to a mandali ( troupe)," the films spokesperson said.

"We decided to identify the troupe members to complete the legal paperwork and pay remuneration.

" A few channels have been running the news as if there is a major issue over the singers payment. The troupe members have told us that the channels used their quotes out of context. This is a non- issue," the spokesperson added.

Lyricist Gaya Prasad Prajapati said the troupe were paid only for performing the song and not for composing it. The number had been performed by many artistes, including Raghubeer Yadav.

" We, the nine members of the troupe, were paid just Rs 1,100. Not a single rupee was paid to me for writing the song. The production team has invited us to Mumbai to be a part of a film show.

Then, I will try to raise the issue before them," Prajapti, a teacher at Badwahi Middle School, said.

This process was started around a month- and- a- half ago. So, we paid the mandali representative only a signing amount at that time," the spokesperson added.

The production house was surprised with some troupe members alleging that they were underpaid. " We will pay them the rest of their remuneration once we are through with the legal paperwork," the spokesperson said. The troupe performed at the films music launch on Tuesday.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Entrance Exam Result 2010 Announced

Jawaharlal Nehru University has declared the Entrance Exam Result 2010-11 and Combine Entrance Examination for Biotechnology 2010.

Selected candidates would need to register themselves from 19th July to 21st July, 2010 and from 2nd August to 5h August, 2010. The last date for completion of admission/registration formalities is 5th August 2010.

Karnataka Board (KSEEB) SSLC Supplementary Results 2010 Expected Today

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) is expected to declare the SSLC (10th Class) Supplementary Results today i.e. 14th July for which the examinations were conducted in June, 2010.

These results can be checked on the KSEEB official results portal on http://karresults.nic.in/, once declared.

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board came in to existence in the year 1966, has been conducting SSLC and other examinations. About 8.69 Lakhs students appeared for SSLC examinations in March 2009 which was successfully conducted by the board.

Tathagat Avatar Tulsi heads towards IIT Mumbai as the youngest IIT professor

This is a bitter - sweet achievement for Bihar's child prodigy Tathagat Avatar Tulsi. The 22 - year - old physics genius has been appointed an assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mumbai, the youngest to ever hold the position. But amid all the jubilation, there's a memory that still rankles him. In February this year, he faced an unfriendly welcome from IIT - Patna — where he had applied for the same post — crushing his dream to serve his home state.

" I wanted to stay closer to home and pursue research from the newly set - up institute but that was not to be. Waterloo University in Canada had offered me an opportunity to pursue post - doctoral research and was willing to pay me Rs 24 lakh per year. But I preferred to stay in Patna," he said.

Tulsi said the Patna interview board had wanted to know why he wanted to stay back. " I told them I wanted to do something for my country," he recalled.But what finally put Tulsi off was the interview board's precondition that he would have to stay away from the media if he wanted the job.

" I told them it was unacceptable. I made it very clear that it would not be possible for me to steer clear of the media because of my background. I failed to see why the institute wanted to place a rider like that," he said.

Subhash Pandey, the registrar of IITPatna, said he couldn't comment on the issue since all academic matters were handled by a high-level committee. "The director of the institute, professor Anil Bhowmick, is in Hyderabad to attend a meeting. He alone can comment on the matter," Pandey said. Bhowmick could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.

For Tulsi, joining IIT is just another feather in his cap. He has a long list of such remarkable accomplishments to his credit, including completing his post-graduation in physics from Patna University at the age of 12!

Tulsi, who was hailed as one of the seven gifted youngsters in Asia by the Time magazine in 2003, said it was very easy for him to go abroad.

" But I chose to serve my country. I do not want to go abroad because I want to do research here and win the Nobel Prize for India," he said. Tulsi, who will join work at IIT Mumbai shortly, said he wanted to set up a lab to do research on quantum computation. But he still says he wouldn't have gone anywhere had he got the job in Patna. That painful interview was not the first hurdle in Tulsi's path.

In August 2001, a delegation of Indian scientists taken to Germany, for an interaction with Nobel laureates, had doubted his abilities. " Those were dark days for me. People questioned my ability and I was dubbed a fake prodigy," he recalled.Tulsi slowly slipped into depression. " But after three years, I decided to fight back and prove my critics wrong. I completed my Ph. D last year," he said.

At 21, he also became the youngest person in India with a doctoral degree. Tulsi, whose role model is Albert Einstein, said he owed his success to his parents. They had to fight many legal battles to get him the permission to appear for university exams before the prescribed age.

" My ultimate ambition is to win a Nobel for my country," he said. The entire country is keeping its fingers crossed to see that happen.

Puri rath yatra stampede killed a woman killed & hurt eight

A woman devotee was killed and eight others were injured in a stampede during the annual Rath Yatra of lord Jagannath at Puri on Tuesday.

Fifty- five- year- old Bijay Laxmi Mohanty of Puri's Bimanbadu Sahi fell down in the melee while the chariot of lord Balabhadra was being pulled by the devotees. Trampled upon by many and gasping for breath she died on her way to hospital.

Of the eight others injured in the incident, two were identified as Pramod Sahu of Rourkela and Alok Kundu from West Bengal. Over 50 people fainted and had to be provided with first aid during the procession which saw a gathering of 10 lakh in the temple town.

Devotees from across the country and abroad thronged the Grand Road in Puri to pull the chariots of lord Jagannath and his two siblings.

Indian Idol 5 Top 5, Tia Finally Eliminated from the showFinally

Indian Idol was not too impressed with the last elimination of Naushad Ali Kawa, it seems literally all of them wanted Tia out of the show as many thinks she just looks good and cannot match up to the potential of rest of the contestants on the whoe.

After surviving for many weeks, Tia Kar has been eliminated from Indian Idol 5 which was expected after some unexpected things already happened on the sets.

Co-incidentally it was Tia's birthday when got eliminated and this is ceratinly not the birthday presented which she might have been expected after she landed up in the bottom 3 with Swaroop Khan & Shivam Pathak

Let's face it. Watching a beautiful woman, who is wellversed in sports lore, passionately display her knowledge in a husky voice from the testosterone- ridden sideline is a hugely addictive viewing experience.

And they don't come much hotter than Sara Carbonero, the Spanish bombshell who monitors the action on the soccer pitch for Spanish television channel Telecinco.

Carbonero, better known as Spanish football captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas' girlfriend, was voted the sexiest sports reporter in a recent FHM poll - a not altogether easy decision given the caliber (and curves) of her competition.

The 25- year- old Spanish beauty sits pretty at the top after beating out elegant American sport reporter Erin Andrews, the lovely Melissa Theuriau - who was widely considered the favourite to win, gorgeous British sportscaster Georgie Thompson and Ines Sainz, an hourglass- figured former Miss Spain.

After the Spanish football team lost to Switzerland thanks to a howler by Casillas, Carbonero was vilified in the Spanish media for supposedly being a distraction to Casil las during the game - this belied the fact that she maintained her journalistic impassivity by roundly berating Casillas.

The accusations were not without merit - it would take incredible focus to draw one's eyes from her luscious lips, piercing olive- green eyes, flowing brown hair and the tight denims she saunters around the sidelines in.

Her standing with the rest of the Spanish fanbase soon improved and came to a head on Sunday night with the passionate (albeit prolonged) kiss from an emotional Casillas as Spain won the World Cup for the first time.

The kiss from a bona fide Spanish hero will only increase Carbonero's appeal — and justify the sultry Spanish siren's selection as the sexiest sportscaster around.
