Food & Nutrition Board Under Ministry of Women & Child Development whose duty is to check the quality of nutrition been distributed through NGO's.The Quality Control laboratories in four of the Regions i.e. Northern Region (Delhi),Western region (Mumbai),Eastern Region (Kolkata)& Southern Region(Chennai)is entrusted to issue the certificates pertaining the quality of food that is been served to the children.These QCl's comes under the Deputy Technical Adviser's head of FNB regional offices. These officers issue A grade certificates even to the failed sample and make good fortune depriving the needy children from nutrition.This is one of the cause for malnutrition in India which goes uncheked and unnoticed.
