Who best portrayed the menacing Kancha Cheena, Sanjay in the re-make or Danny in original Agneepath?

The remake of 1990 cult Agneepath starring Amitabh Bachchan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and Danny Denzongpa as the deadly Kancha Cheena saw Hrithik Roshan reprising Big B's role while Sanjay Dutt taking on Danny's. The remake has undoubtedly made big money at the box-office unlike the original one, but that doesn't keep us away from comparing the two. In the new version the only difference was Kancha's look, which appeared quite scary. Does the same go for the acting of the respective stars? Who as per you played Kancha the best, was it Sanjay or Danny?
